WARNING: LIGHT SPOILERS FOR ONE PIECE OF EGG ISLAND
Summary
Elbaf, the land of the One Piece giants, finally gets a detailed and gorgeous look in episode #1109. The anime showcases Elbaf's natural beauty, setting the stage for the final battles. Luffy and his crew are expected to visit Elbaf after escaping Egghead Island.
Elbaf is the legendary land of A piecegiants and one of the the last island Luffy's crew would be visiting, which has been teased for a while now, but the anime has given us our best look yet at this beautiful land. The Giants were introduced as larger-than-life warriors as early as the Little Garden arc of the series, when Luffy and the Straw Hats successfully befriended two humans named Dorry and Brogy. Since then, Elbaf has only been mentioned on rare occasions, until now.
The final few parts of One Piece will likely take place on Elbaf after the Straw Hats manage to escape Eggheald Island. However, Episode #1109 of the anime provides an extended look at Elbaf with the adaptation of the most anticipated moment between the Shanks pirate crew and Eustass Kid.
Anime viewers are treated to stunningly detailed motion shots of tumbling tree-covered mountain peaks alongside sparkling lakes that filled the long-ago legendary land of Elbaf. A silhouette of a giant tree reaching into the sky is also briefly shown, but will likely be shown more prominently in the future. The first giants who befriended Luffy and Usopp talked a lot about the paradise they grew up in more than 100 years ago. Any doubts about their description were quickly put to rest in episode #1109.

One Piece Anime Reveals Part of Elbaf in Big Mom's Flashback
The mighty Giant race is so rare that some residents of One Piece even doubt their existence. While others fear the warrior race whose fighting prowess is said to be the strongest in the One Piece world. During the Whole Cake Island arc, fans knew very little about the land of the Giants and Big Mom's childhood there. However, the anime provided a stunning new look at the island as Shanks reunited with Dorry and Brogy before confronting the Kid Pirates.
Detailed shots of massive mountains pleasantly attacked by the rising sunlight illustrate a land that resembles the Viking Promised Land of the Vinland Saga more than One Piece. While the series is no stranger to presenting audiences with majestic and unique destinations from the imagination of author Eiichiro Oda, the Elbaf that viewers see in One Piece #1109 stands out for its natural beauty, rather than the more fantastical environments that the story has featured more prominently. Thankfully, readers won't have to wait too long to discover more about the highly anticipated One Piece island.
