Kodoani.com – The Pokémon Company just launched a web series Fun Times on monpoké Island internationally on YouTube on Tuesday, to mark part of the global launch of the “monpoké” brand, aimed at babies and toddlers. This web series consists of six episodes, and the first episode has already been released.
Designed specifically for parents to introduce their children to the world of Pokémon, this web series marks the brand's expansion from Asia to other markets globally. “monpoké” includes licensed merchandise and books, with appearances from familiar Pokémon such as Pikachu, Dedenne, and Smeargle.
To add variety and utility to the brand, The Pokémon Company is partnering with French luxury children's clothing brand Bonpoint to release apparel for toddlers, joining the line Skin Care. They also signed a contract with book publisher Scholastic to release photo books in the US, Canada and later in the UK.
The monpoké brand was launched by the Pokémon company in March 2019. Previously, the brand collaborated with many famous children's and maternity wear designers at Inujirushi, Nanoblock toy maker Kawada, children's products manufacturer Combi Corporation, SEGA Toys and stuffed animal manufacturer Sekiguchi.
