The 14th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced on Monday that the magazine will publish a special issue of the manga titled Bentame Jump (a combination of the Japanese word “benkyō”, meaning “study” and the English word “entertainment”), on April 1. The magazine will introduce educational short stories and manga series by famous manga authors, and is aimed at “all elementary and middle school kids who love curiosity, and all adults who don’t forget their curiosity! “

Shueisha launched “Project Bentame” in January, and published Yorudon’s Hyaku Jū Gattai (Hundred Beasts Combination) manga in Saikyō Jump magazine. The manga series focuses on the battles of union between animals and allows readers to learn about the ecology of living things.
