Saiyans are a powerful warrior race living on planet Vegeta.
In universe 7, most of the saiyans were murdered by Frieza before the start of the Dragon Ball story. However, there are still some Saiyans who survived the incident on Planet Vegeta.
The popularity of Dragon Ball led the series to expand with other non-canon stories (stories not created by Akira Toriyama), after Dragon Ball Z ended in the mid-1990s.
These non-canon stories are created to entertain people who want to continue watching Dragon Ball content.
Now that author Akira Toriyama has passed away, the characters in the side stories will never be recognized as part of the canon.
However, in this article, we will remember them by listing the top 5 strongest Saiyans we have ever seen, in Dragon Ball stories not created by Akira Toriyama.
Turles
This is a villain who appears in Dragon Ball Z: The Decisive Battle for Earth. This Saiyan looks very similar to Goku. He came to earth to plant a tree that would absorb the world's energy and bestow impressive powers on the villains who ate the fruit.
Cumber
Cumber is like a much stronger version of Broly. This Saiyan is an iconic villain in Dragon Ball's non-canon stories.
Crimson
Dragon Ball Heroes introduced Crimson, an alternate version of Goku Black who was able to see what was happening in Dragon Ball Super and according to Alfa Beta, he took a different path to survive. Crimson has immense power, something we have never seen before in the Dragon Ball series.
Bardock Xeno
The Super Dragon Ball Heroes series, in the Dark Demon Kingdom missions, shows us Bardock Xeno, a beastly version of Goku's father. In his first appearance, he is mentally controlled by Mira and Towa's forces. He freed himself from mental control and showed impressive strength. He later joined the Time Patrol and changed his name.
Goku Super Saiyan 4
Last but not least, we have to take a look at Dragon Ball GT and mention Goku Super Saiyan 4. It can be said that this is a more complete transformation than Golden Oozaru.
During most of the events that took place in Dragon Ball GT, Goku regrew his typical Saiyan tail due to being reduced to a smaller size. Even though he tried, Goku still couldn't defeat the Tuffle that was taking over Vegeta's body. Goku at this time, under the influence of the tail, transformed into a giant yellow gorilla. Fortunately, his niece Pan calmed him down and thanks to that, Goku achieved a completely new state, Super Saiyan 4.
