Kodoani.com – Manga Battle Angel Alita: Mars Chronicle (original title: Gunnm: Kasei Senki) by author Yukito Kishiro has just ended after the 56th chapter, according to the author's announcement on his personal blog on Monday. Even though the Mars Chronicle part is closed, the story of “mechanical angel” Gally (or Alita in the English version) is not over yet. Kishiro confirmed that he will continue to expand the story with a new manga series, expected to launch in 2025.

Mars Chronicle is launched in the magazine Evening by Kodansha in April 2014. After the magazine Evening Cessation of publication in February 2023, manga moved to app Comic Days.
