Author Masaki Tsuzuki outlines the story with illustrations by Shuichi Kawakami, also the author of Lyrical Nanoha Innocent
Kodoani.com – The series' 20-year journey Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha just opened a new and promising chapter when account X officially announced a completely new comic series. Released on the platform Sirius by Kodansha, this series will have plot ideas outlined by creator and screenwriter Masaki Tsuzuki. Shuichi Kawakami, who made his mark through original designs for Extreme Hearts and manga Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Innocentwill take care of the illustrations.
Besides the good news about the manga, a 20th anniversary special will air on December 28 on Tokyo MX and BS11. Veteran voice actors Yukari Tamura, Nana Mizuki, and Mikako Takahashi will return to the show. In particular, the “Mikako's Room” segment, which has been very popular in previous releases, will return after a five-year absence, bringing exciting nostalgic moments to fans.
To mark this important milestone, a series of other commemorative projects are also being implemented. Highlights are two limited edition watches in collaboration with the Seiko brand, inspired by the characters Nanoha and Fate. Television edited version Lyrical Selectionwhich includes two animated films Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st and The Movie 2nd A’swhich began airing in October, brings back precious memories of the series' early days.
Since its launch in 2004, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha has become a symbol of the mahou shoujo genre with the emotional story of Nanoha Takamachi – an ordinary elementary school girl who accidentally becomes a magical girl and embarks on a journey of struggle between power and friendship. The series has evolved through several anime seasons, movies, and accompanying publications such as manga, novels, and drama CDs. These achievements not only highlight Masaki Tsuzuki's storytelling abilities but also solidify Nanoha's place in the hearts of fans for two decades.
This new comic series promises to open a new direction for the Nanoha universe, continuing to take readers on magical adventures where magic and heart blend together.
