Virtual YouTuber Komori Met transferred from branch 774 inc. to Vspo branch! on Wednesday. Vspo! announced on Twitter last Thursday that 774 inc. approached Vspo! on transferability. Vspo! conducted an audition and the two companies decided to officially transfer.
Corporation 774 issued a separate announcement saying that Komori Met graduated (i.e. retired) from the branch on Tuesday. The company also explained that Komori Met asked the company if she could audition for Vspo!. The management has decided to support the wishes of the talent.
Vspo! suspended its YouTube channel membership on Tuesday night to manage channel migration.
Vspo! managed by Virtual Entertainment, a subsidiary of the group Brave. The first members debuted in 2018 and now have a total of 16 members. In addition to VTuber content, members also regularly participate in eSports tournaments. It is the third most popular VTuber company in Japan after hololive and NIJISANJI.
JSC 774 is the fourth most popular VTuber dealer in Japan after hololive, NIJISANJI and Vspo!. Its first members debuted in 2018 under the group AniMare.
Komori Met launched in May 2020 under the VApArt team of 774 inc. The group disbanded on January 7, 2023. Thereafter, the Met began operating directly under 774 inc. management. Even before officially switching to Vspo!, Met regularly collaborated with team members and organized many company events.
