11 Thien Dia Admins were punished
Remember not long ago, the scandal of the “Thien Dia” forum caused a stir among the Vietnamese community on all large and small social media sites. After this criminal ring was eliminated, the person believed to be the leader of N.Đ.V along with 10 other defendants were sentenced. Specifically, on November 1, the People's Court of Nghe An province sentenced defendant N.Đ.V, 49 years old, residing in Vinh City, to 4 years in prison. The remaining 10 defendants received from one year and nine months of suspended prison time to four years in prison for the crime of spreading depraved cultural products, according to Article 326 of the Penal Code.
“Thiendia2.cc” (originally named Green Floor) is a transnational pornography website. This website regularly shares depraved and pornographic content on the Internet… N.D.V and 10 other defendants are said to be the Admins in charge of operating this website. Although it has been around for a long time, it was only recently that Thien Dia was destroyed and made the community shaken by the scale and huge amount of information it possessed.
“Old Buddha” – The final boss of Thien Dia?
It was thought that when N.D.V was arrested, Thien Dia's fate was “arranged”. However, according to V's testimony, he was just an administrator, hired by a boss nicknamed “old Buddha” to run the website and recruit personnel to expand the forum. V and other Admins are paid by this tycoon via e-wallet.
According to the investigation agency, while operating the line, V was paid 360 million VND by the “old Buddha” and from a few dozen to 200 million VND by the employees. Currently, the police are looking for people who hired V and a group of centipedes to commit crimes. Once caught, they will be processed later.
This means that Thien Dia can still reappear, even reborn under a new, more dangerous and complicated name in the near future. Only until the “old Buddhist” is actually arrested can the community feel somewhat more secure.
