Kodoani.com – Anime adaptation of the manga Oshi no Ko of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari revealed a new promotional video, a new visual and two new characters for the anime on Saturday. The video comes with the ending singing bowl of Queen Bee’s “Mephisto” anime.

The anime will premiere on April 12 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX channel. The anime will also air on the same day on Chiba TV, Gunma TV, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, Shizuoka Broadcasting System, TV Aichi, TVK, Saitama TV, Tochigi TV, Hokuriku Broadcasting, Higashinippon Broadcasting, Hiroshima Home TV, TV Hokkaido, TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu, and Niigata’s Broadcasting System. The film will premiere on April 14 on AT-X.
The 90-minute version of the first episode will be shown in advance in cinemas nationwide in Japan starting Friday, March 17.
Daisuke Hiramaki and Chao Nekotomi will direct the film at Doga Kobo. Jin Tanaka will handle the series’ script. Kanna Hirayama is designing the characters.
YOASOBI will perform the opening theme song “Idol”.
Akasaka and Yokoyari launched the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020.
