Studio Pierrot anime producer Yoshihiro Tominaga spoke with Men's Non-No magazine, discussing the company's long-term plans. To meet the growing demand for high-quality anime that can be produced quickly, such as Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen, the company announced the launch of PIERROT FILMS. “This studio will produce original works as well as works based on manga for adults,” said Tominaga. “The next season of BLEACH: The Thousand-Year Blood War will also be produced at PIERROT FILMS. I believe this work is aimed at people who have seen Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen, so our goal is to provide high-quality images and stories in a short time while firmly consolidating the power studio brand.”
