Humans received the artifact from the gods because they took pity on humans but then the gods soon realized that this was a mistake, humans went through countless hardships and resolved to become strong, and so the divine weapon gave them enough strength to stand next to the gods.
The gods were not pleased with this but their pride was too high to take away these divine weapons from man and so the simple path by fighting evolved from the simple path by fighting into total war.

In Record of Ragnarok Chapter 79, the war between Nichola Tesla and the demon god Beelzebub is coming to an end. Nichola Tesla is known to be the only witch in human history to continue to fight with her energy-powered armor imbued with the power of electricity.
Beelzebub is barely able to deal with the barrage of attacks from Nichola Tesla, and since Beelzebub has an organic body, fighting Nichola Tesla leaves her breathless as Nichola’s machines have endless stamina. The two were back and forth, both of them evenly matched, and realizing the limit of time was coming for them, Beelzebub and Nichola decided to unleash their strongest attacks.
Finally, after the smoke cleared and the silhouettes of a broken machine and a standing man were seen, Beelzebub won the match and completely paralyzed Nichola Tesla.
