Setia and Miere are an odd couple who don’t have much in common even though it’s the male lead who keeps them together.
He is considered a rich but stupid guy who does not understand what is going on around him. This led Setia to sign a contract with him and use his fortune to get out of the family’s debt.
She’s a pretty toxic heroine on paper but is explained further in the story for more complicated reasons why she accepts the offer.
However, she will end the proposal after Miere disappears for several years, only to return as a hero. Now that his future had become someone special in the eyes of others, she had a change of heart.

My angel husband is actually a devil in human disguise. Chapter 22 sees Miere being himself and toying with Setia, delighting his heart. Sometimes it’s sad to think that the heroine used to consider him a piece of crap. But, Miere is a pretty loose guy and therefore doesn’t bother about those details.
However, it still raises questions about what he sees in the woman he considers his fiancé. Appearance is a good stat, but if he became a hero just because of that, he wouldn’t be a hero at all.
Even so, it would be a strange admission of love if he became a hero just for the sake of love.
Furthermore, Setia has yet to get much character development but again; the story has only just begun. We will see where she will be in the next chapters as more and more information about her is revealed. Before that though, we’ll learn more about what she did when Miere was gone.

However, a lot of things would have happened when ML was gone; as was clear from what we saw in the last scene of the previous chapter.
It is possible that she is preparing a mural for him to announce his death and move on with his life; if true, she would be considered a backstabber. However, the female leads are never complicated and there is a mixture of good and bad; so whatever she’s hiding, that would be healthy, since she’s mostly trying to downplay his feelings for her and trying to keep a healthy distance.
