Kodoani.com – Konami has revealed the trailer for Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars during the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase livestream, and announced an official release date of March 6. These are HD remakes of two classic Konami RPGs: Suikoden and Suikoden II. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Remake version: The game will include new environment textures, new HD character illustrations, updated effects, all-new environmental sounds, remastered battle sound effects, auto-save feature, fast-forward option for battles, and a dialogue log.
Release date: Originally scheduled for release in 2023, but has been delayed to ensure the best quality of user experience.

Suikoden I: The story follows a once-famous hero turned brutal tyrant, his empire in decline, and a liberation army rising up against the oppressive regime. Fateful stars come together to shape history.
Suikoden II: The protagonist and his friend Jowy are members of the Unicorn Youth Brigade, involved in a border dispute between the Highland Kingdom and the City-States of Jowstown. Although a peace agreement has been signed, the flames of a new war continue to smolder.

The original Suikoden game was released on the PlayStation in 1995, and Suikoden II came out in 1998. The series has had five main installments along with five spin-off games, making it one of Konami's most beloved RPG series.
