In the previous chapter of Am I Really the Strongest?, Haruto thwarts Queen Gizelotte’s plot to kill Princess Charlotte. Queen Gizelotte was furious that her men failed to assassinate the Princess and she severely disciplined them for their failure.
Later, her men told her about the Black Knights who stopped them and failed them. As they were telling Queen Gizelotte about the Black Knight, Haruto appeared and the Queen fought him because he had proven himself to be a stumbling block in Queen Gizelotte’s plan.
Queen Gizelotte was very powerful but Haruto overpowered her and wore a metal chain around her neck after defeating her. He then told Queen Gizelotte to never go near his family again and that if she tried to pry off the necklace herself, she would likely be beheaded doing so.
Haruto warns Queen Gizelotte and says he will remove the necklace after making sure she doesn’t plot against his family anymore. Things became peaceful again and time passed 5 years after the battle with Queen Gizelotte.
Haruto, Charlotte and Flay are seen playing together in the snow and Haruto asks Heart if Queen Gizelotte is plotting against his family again. Heart tells him that nothing suspicious has happened to the Queen and Haruto is relieved to know that as he can now return to life as a hikikomori.
Unfortunately, his plans are interrupted when Heart tells Haruto that he needs to go to school now because the King has enrolled Haruto in an elite school. Haruto resolves not to go and assigns his clone to go to school instead.
