Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) has revealed streaming details (languages will be available on Netflix for both subtitles and dubs), along with introducing 6 new characters and revealing their voice actors. The anime will air in two consecutive episodes from January 4. There are also comments from the new cast, as well as from ending theme song artist Ryokuoushoku Shakai.

New characters and cast:
Kabru (VA: Wataru Katoh)
Character Description: Leader of a group of young dungeon explorers. While he may lack experience as an adventurer, he makes up for it with his natural observational skills. Comment by Wataru Katoh:Kabru cares about “humans”, has excellent communication skills, and hates dungeons and monsters, making him the opposite of Laios. However, both have similarities and in my personal understanding, if Laios is considered a biologist then Kabru can be considered a sociologist. The world of “Delicious in Dungeon” is meticulously structured as are the motivations and predicaments of the various characters. is what helps develop the story. In this series, it is Laios’s team who introduce us to the appeal of trying to eat monsters, but perhaps, it is Kabru’s team that truly gets close to the mysteries of this world itself . I am happy to be able to convey this wonderful story “Delicious in the Dungeon”, a celebration of all living creatures, to even more people through anime. Rinsha (VA; Rie Takahashi)
Character description:A magician who accompanies Kabru.Rie Takahashi Comments:This time, I have been chosen to play the role of Rinsha, the magician of the Kabru group! This adaptation carefully demonstrates the manga’s depiction of each scene. During the process of building the character of playing Rinsha, I learned and discovered many things every time I was on set – even if you just take any line in the dialogue, I don’t think there was a time when I have to compromise on anything. Whether you’re a fan of the manga or just casually interested this time, this adaptation of the beloved anime will have you gasping for breath. Let’s watch it!
Mickbell (VA: Miyu Tomita)
Character description: A half-meter person who is a member of Kabru’s group. He brought along Kobold Kuro, whom he hired. Miyu Tomita’s review:I’m Miyu Tomita and I play the role of Mickbell. He has such a lovely appearance, but sometimes an evil look will appear on his face. Mickbell and Kuro are often seen together, and even while in character, I felt relieved by their interactions. And the visual beauty is overwhelming…! I was very touched; everything looks really delicious…!! Furthermore, not only the food but also the battles that make you restless also add to the appeal of this series. I hope you will look forward to each episode with an empty stomach while eating delicious food!
Kuro (VA: Toru Nara)
Character description:A Kobold hired by Mickbell.Toru Nara’s comment:I’ve been chosen to play the role of Kuro!Food is important, right? “Delicious” provides a strength that transcends its nutritional value not only to the body but also to the mind and spirit. As a viewer, I look forward to seeing how various dishes prepared with locally sourced “ingredients” from the dungeon will be portrayed. Kuro’s appearance and movements may seem adorable, but when it comes to fighting, he’s very reliable… or at least, he should be! Please look forward to the warrior and “nose” of the Kabru group, Kuro, as well as all the members. Another member of the Party!
Holm (VA: Yuya Hirose)
Character Description: A short young man who is a member of Kabru’s group. Yuya Hirose’s review: I’m Yuya Hirose, and I play Holm! Holm is a spirit mage who uses the four spirits of water, wind, fire, and earth, even naming them and lovingly caring for them! He is kind of “furry,” and even his slightly clumsy qualities make him a lovable character. The recording and animation production is meticulously done, so I can’t wait for it air!Please look forward to Kabru and others’ performances!
One (VA: Kei Kawamura)
Character Description:A dwarf who is a member of Kabru’s group.Kei Kawamura’s review:Hearing rumors about an anime adaptation, as a fan, I was eagerly awaiting the next news, but who would have guessed that I would be able to participate in it myself!? Just like how they faced the dungeon with a spirit of inquiry, I also wanted to help create this series – greedily, cheerfully and with a lot of love. Since I watched the premiere the other day, my excitement and appetite knows no bounds! Do you feel hungry when watching an interesting series!? I can’t wait for it to start airing!

Reading the manga for the first time, the unique ingredients, detailed dungeon settings, and adorable characters made us completely immersed in the story.
It is an honor to participate in this series, the long-awaited anime adaptation of many people, through our music.
We wrote this song with the feeling of being allowed to join the party led by Laios and hope that the party song brought to you by Ryokuoushoku Shakai will be like a dessert that you can look forward to each episode movie.

Ryoko Kui writes and draws the original manga Delicious in Dungeon, which has been serialized in Enterbrain’s Harta magazine since February 2014. Yen Press licensed the manga in English, and they describe the story:When home Young explorer Laios and his comrades were attacked and devastated. by a dragon deep in the dungeon, the party loses all their money and food…and one member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there’s just one problem: If they set out without food or coins to speak of, they’ll surely starve to death on the way! But Laios comes up with a great idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…no one is safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
