The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing (Gekijōban Project Sekai: Kowareta Sekai to Utaenai Miku) aired its second “break” video on Friday, featuring Eve's song “Gunjō Sanka.” This song is also the first anniversary song for the game Project Sekai: Colorful Stage with the participation of Hatsune Miku. The video will be broadcast in 25 theaters in Japan from November 1 to December 19.
Movie content and plot
The story revolves around Ichika Hoshinoa girl hears an unknown Miku song at a CD store and meets a different Hatsune Miku. After making eye contact with Ichika, Miku disappears and appears on Ichika's phone, sharing her desire to touch people's hearts through music but fails. Realizing Ichika's influence during a street performance, Miku asked Ichika to help her realize her dream.
Saki Fujita reprises her role as Hatsune Miku, alongside Ruriko Noguchi as Ichika Hoshino and returning cast members from the series. Hiroyuki Hata Directed the film at PA Works, Yoko Yonaiyama (Ya Boy Kongming!) wrote the script, and Yuki Akiyama (IRODUKU: The World in Colors) main character designer and animation director.
Original game release and collaboration
Project Sekai: Colorful Stage, a cooperative game between Sega, Crypton Future Mediaand Colorful Palette (a subsidiary of Craft Egg), launched in Japan in September 2020 and internationally in December 2021. The game is a combination of a visual novel and a rhythm game, in There Hatsune Miku and virtual singers like Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, KAITO và MEIKO Join the original cast of characters. Players will discover Hatsune Miku's hits, participate in virtual live performances, and unlock character cards through the gacha system.
