The first season of the Tower of God anime produced by Telecom Animation Film was broadcast on Crunchyroll from April 2020 to June 2020. A video game based on Tower of God is also in development.
The creator of the manhwa Tower of God series, SIU, expressed his happiness at the announcement of the second season. He wrote: “It seems like just yesterday the first season was released, but I have come to you with the news of the second season. To anime makers and readers, thank you and I’ll be waiting for season two. Thanks very much!”.
Tower of God anime series is based on manhwa series of the same name written and drawn by SIU. The manhwa series began publishing on Naver Webtoon from June 2010. The manhwa chapters have been collected into 10 volumes since July 2022.
