The January issue of Shogakukan’s monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine published the first chapter of the manga “Cardfight!! Vanguard Skyride” by Makoto Taienbō on Friday. The magazine introduced the series with the words: “The stage of this series is the sky! The fight to revolutionize the card game has evolved!”
Previously, many other “Cardfight!! Vanguard” manga were serialized in Bushiroad’s monthly magazine Bushiroad, but the magazine will cease publication on April 8.
The anime’s next season, “Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ,” was announced to air on January 13.
Naoyuki Kageyama and Akira Itō ended their short manga “Cardfight!! Vanguard firstDress” in June. The manga launched in April and has a total of three chapters. The series tells the story of the meeting of two characters Yu-yu Kondō and Danji Momoyama, different from the story in the “Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress” anime.
Kageyama and Itō serialized “Cardfight!! Vanguard Turnabout” in Monthly Bushiroad magazine in August 2020. The manga ended in December 2022. Bushiroad published the manga’s fourth compiled volume on January 7. Official sequel to the manga “Cardfight!! Vanguard,” which had a total of 12 volumes from 2010-2017.
Akira Itō is credited as the original creator of “Cardfight!! Vanguard” and has also attracted attention through the manga “Yu-Gi-Oh! R.”
