Kodoani.com – WWWave Corporation has just announced that their anime label Deregula will be producing an anime adaptation of the manga Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World! (Chotto Dake Ai ga Omoi Dark Elf ga Isekai Kara Oikakete Kita) by Nakanosora. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
The manga is licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment under the Ghost Ship label and will release its first compiled book volume on October 8.
The story revolves around Sunohara Hinata, a high school student who returns from another world after defeating an evil lord. His ordinary life is changed when Mariabell, a dark elf from the magical world, follows him home and declares that they are destined to be together forever. Hinata faces the challenges of school life while living with a passionately jealous girlfriend, creating an exciting romantic comedy story.
Nakanosora launched the manga on Takeshobo's Web Comic Gamma Plus service in 2021, and Takeshobo released the manga's third volume this past Friday.
WWWave Corporation, founded in 2010, launched Deregula in June 2023 with the goal of producing anime from other companies' IPs. The company has previously focused on producing anime based on its own original manga and plans to release four new anime titles each year under the Deregula label. Yandere Dark Elf is Deregula's first announced anime.
In addition to Deregula, WWWave Corporation also owns AnimeFesta, which produces short anime adaptations of manga, especially adult and pornographic manga. AnimeFesta has “broadcast” (censored) and “deluxe” (uncensored) versions of many of its anime series. The company also releases many anime titles in English through its Coolmic website.
