Nobuyo Ōyama's biography and voice acting career
Date of birth October 16, 1933 in TokyoNobuyo Ōyama began her acting career after attending acting school, and made her debut on NHK television series in 1956. She officially entered the voice acting field in 1957 and gradually became one of The most popular voice actors in Japan.
In 2015, Ōyama revealed that she had the condition memory loss since 2012, after suffering a cerebral infarction in 2008. Although she initially thought the symptoms were due to complications from the disease, she continued her voice work until the end of 2015. Doraemon and memorable roles
Nobuyo Ōyama is most loved for his role as the voice of the character Doraemon from 1979 to 2005. She not only voiced the legendary robot cat, but also performed the theme song “Doraemon no Uta” for the program. The series later replaced some of the roles with new voice actors.
