The countdown to Dragon Ball Daima's world premiere is almost over. Next Friday, October 11, we will have the first of 20 episodes of this new adventure of Goku and the Z Fighters, written by Akira Toriyama.
In the days leading up to the premiere, which marked the beginning of the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball manga's first publication, new details of the anime were announced.
It is known that this is a completely independent story from what we have seen, it has no manga and it is believed that Daima's timeline only takes place after the events of Majin Buu in Dragon Ball Z.
Recently, Dragon Ball Daima officially revealed the synopsis, along with an important reveal about the film's villain. This reveal was expected, but the fact that they wrote a specific word, in an official document, assured fans that the rumors were true.
Dragon Ball villain Daima is related to the magicians Babidi and Bibidi
One of the first previews of Dragon Ball Daima shows two beings floating in the air, looking at a screen with several images of Z Fighters. They appear to be analyzing them.
It is worth noting that at that time, one of the frames showed a chubby Majin Buu next to Babidi. So, if we add to that the fact that Akira Toriyama has already told us that the word Daima is associated with evil, it's almost a given that the majin race or species will play an important role in the new story.
Now, it has been confirmed. In the synopsis of the film they say the word majin and thus we are faced with the possibility of discovering the origin of the magicians who created Majin Buu.
