Dragon Ball Daima introduced the guardians of the Dragon Balls in Demon Realm, the Tamagami. So how strong are these guys compared to everything Goku has fought so far?
Dragon Ball Daima has started a whole new adventure for Goku. Currently, he and Supreme Kai are gradually entering the Demon Realm to rescue Dende from King Gomah's clutches. At the same time, they also plan to acquire the Dragon Balls of the Demon Realm to make their wishes come true.
However, the dragon balls of the great demon world are guarded by powerful golems, seemingly the strongest warriors in the entire demon realm.
As Glorio explained in the latest episode of the anime, everyone in Demon Realm knows where the dragon balls are, but no one has them. Because all three Dragon Balls are protected by Tamagami, who are said to be stronger than the Supreme Demon King.
What is Tamagami in Dragon Ball Daima?
Dragon Ball Daima first revealed the Tamagami as the trio of warriors protecting the Dragon Balls of the Demon Realm. Both these warriors and the dragon balls were created by a Namekian named Neva. They are so powerful that no one has ever been granted a wish with a magical dragon. Gomah even teased that they were too strong and couldn't be defeated. That's why he came to Earth, using the Dragon Balls here to wish Goku and the others to turn into children.
None of the Tamagami warriors are fully revealed, so it's unclear what they actually are. This implies that they are some kind of golem or machine that moves automatically to protect the dragon balls.
Although in Demon Realm, Tamagami may be the strongest, but according to what we have learned about the environment of Demon Realm, it seems that Tamagami are not invincible. They are only strong compared to the “weakened” state that Goku is experiencing in the present.
Goku was seriously weakened when he arrived at the great demon world
As demonstrated in the first few episodes of Dragon Ball Daima so far, Goku has been severely weakened, not only by his new mini body, but also by the environment of the Third Demon World. While Goku is still trying to adapt to using his new body, the air in the Third Demon World is so heavy that he cannot fly far. Ultimately, Goku will likely adapt to these circumstances and become stronger, but it also makes Tamagami seem much stronger in comparison.
It's possible that Goku's standard form could defeat these warriors, it's just that everything here is a bit weaker than what Goku and Vegeta can usually do. And with the people of the great demon world not even knowing about Ki and its potential, this only makes Tamagami seem stronger.
So while Tamagami may be the Demon Realm's strongest warriors, in the grand scheme of the Dragon Ball series, they may not be a deadly threat.
