Electronic Arts (EA) and Marvel Entertainment (Marvel) have announced a partnership to bring the new FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) hero to the arena.
This character will appear in FIFA 23, inspired by Marvel Comics and recreated. This partnership between the two largest entertainment brands in the world will bring game fans more exciting experiences.
This is also a way to honor the achievements of legendary heroes alongside Marvel’s artists. FUT heroes are recognized for their club, country and history at each FIFA World Cup they have participated in, including the FUT base version that will be released with the release of FIFA 23, as well as special illustrated FUT items released with the World Cup game mode.

FUT Heroes has been a part of the FIFA franchise since 2015 and is a special Ultimate Team card designed to represent moments in football history. There’s a new Hero format in FIFA 23, with 21 player cards revolving around famous World Cup moments or performances in club football.
There were 21 FIFA World Cup FUT Heroes cards released, with 5 announced at the launch of the initiative – Landon Donovan, Ricardo Carvalho, Claudio Marchisio, Yaya Toure and Park Ji-Sung.
The collaboration includes skins that will leave a mark on the hero’s name in terms of kits, colors, and equipment inspired by Marvel’s heroes. Players will also be able to watch online the Marvel Hero Comic Book based on the biography written by Marvel, with information about the book and how many will be shared. Details of the skins used in the game and the release date of the story will be revealed later.
Users who pre-order the EA Sports FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition by August 21 will receive a limited-time FIFA World Cup Hero item, which includes multiple in-game benefits.
