RPG game launches April 23 for PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC
Kodoani.com – Role-playing game “Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes” is coming with an exciting preview. This trailer provides an overview of the game as well as introducing the characters.
The game is expected to be released on April 23 on many platforms such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, Epic and GOG. The delay from 2023 to Q2 2024 is to ensure that the game will have the best possible story and the best gaming experience.
The Kickstarter campaign for the game was successful with massive contributions from the community, becoming the third most funded game on the platform, after “Shenmue 3” and “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night”. The final goal was 4.5 million USD, and the campaign raised 481,621,841 yen (about 4,571,418 USD).
“Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes” is the first collaboration between Yoshitaka Murayama (“Suikoden I”, “Suikoden II”) and Junko Kawano (“Suikoden I”, “Suikoden IV”) in 25 years. Murayama is in charge of scriptwriting and game design, while Kawano is the character designer. The development team also includes Osamu Komuta, Junichi Murakami, Motoi Sakuraba and Michiko Naruke.
The game’s story takes place in a complex world where history is made with swords and magical “rune lenses”. The Galdean Empire is searching for an artifact that can expand their power. In this journey of discovery, protagonist Seign Kesling and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, will undergo many trials and discover the truth about their world.
With more than 100 characters and a guild system, “Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes” promises a deep and diverse role-playing experience.
