Kodoani.com – Nintendo started posting a new trailer on Wednesday for the strategy RPG Fire Emblem Engage, the newest entry in the Fire Emblem game series. The trailer, titled “The Divine Dragon Awakens!,” reveals the story, characters, and rings.
Nintendo describes the story:
During the war against the Fell Dragon, the four kingdoms teamed up with heroes from other worlds to seal this great evil. A thousand years later, this seal has weakened and the Fell Dragon is about to awaken again. As the Divine Dragon, use rich strategies and powerful customization to meet your destiny—collect the iconic Ring and bring peace back to the Elyos Continent.
The game will allow the player to summon heroes from the Fire Emblem games called “Engaging” to join them in battle, including Marth and Celica. Joining will allow players to “inherit weapons, skills, etc from the legends that have been tested in this battle.”
Nintendo will release Fire Emblem Engage for the Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.
The action game Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes by Nintendo and KOEI Tecmo Games using characters from Fire Emblem: Three Houses was ported to the Nintendo Switch on June 24. The Fire Emblem: Three Houses game for Nintendo Switch launches on June 24. July 2019.
