Jun Maeda's first brand new game in 13 years launches in Japan in February 2022
Kodoani.com – Last Friday, Yostar Games has released the English version of the popular game Heaven Burns Red – collaborative product between Jun Maeda (Kanon, Air, Clannad, Angel Beats!) and Visual Arts/Key. The game is now available on Google Play, App Storeand Windowsexpanding its reach to global players.
The development journey is full of ups and downs
Heaven Burns Red first launched in Japan in February 2022 after several delays. Initially, the game was scheduled to release in 2020, but was repeatedly postponed to 2021 before a final schedule was set. This is Jun Maeda's first completely new game 13 yearsbears the creative imprint of this famous scriptwriter.
At Anime Expo, Yostar Games announced plans for an English release, creating great excitement among the international gaming community.
Fascinating plot
Set in the context of Earth standing on the brink of destruction due to the attack of mysterious life forms called Phagehumanity was pushed into a desperate position. Faced with the helplessness of traditional weapons, an ultimate weapon has a name Seraph developed, giving hope for survival.
Players will follow Ruka Kayamori and her special squad – talented girls chosen to fight against the Phage, protecting the future of humanity.
