Rhythm Mobile Game Launches With The First Anime Of The Brand
Kodoani.com – Love Live Official Website! The brand announced on Tuesday Mobile Game Love Live! School Idol Festival will end its service on March 31, just 16 days before the game’s 10th anniversary of its release in Japan. The announcement encourages players to look forward to the release of the successor to Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live! although the game has yet to receive a release date.
A new version of the game called Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS launched in Japan in September 2019 and globally in February 2020. The game includes Love Live! in the recently launched Nijigasaki High School Idol Club idol group, and goes with its story concurrently with the original Love Live! School Idol Festival.
The mobile rhythm game debuted alongside the franchise’s first television anime in 2013 and adds side stories and character-focused stories not found in the anime. The game is primarily a rhythm game in which the player taps the screen at just the right time to hear on-screen prompts based on songs in Love Live! trademark. The game launched overseas in 2014. Since then, it has spawned Love Live! School Idol Festival ~Afterschool Activity~ arcade games in 2016 and arcade games ported to PlayStation 4 in 2021 respectively.
