Kodoani.com – Game show Tōsōchū of Fuji TV (known as Run for the Money in English) is streaming an anime adaptation titled Tōsōchū: The Great Mission in the spring.
The game show has been broadcast sporadically on Fuji TV since 2004. The “runaway” contestants try to survive in amusement parks, shopping malls, and other locations to earn money while being “hunters” “chasing. The show has inspired stage productions, publications, and Netflix releases.
The anime is set in the future when humans migrate to the Moon due to Earth’s climate change. Anime combines its own elements, such as a drama about human survival on a diverse field that blurs countries and eras such as Shibuya, Edo period Japan, and London.
