Developer HoYoverse officially revealed two new sets of holy relics that are expected to appear in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 3.0.
Kodoani.com – Weapons and relic sets are probably the two most important parts of the character building process in Genshin Impact. While weapons can be obtained by rolling in banners, relic sets must be obtained in the game’s secret scenes.
Characters in Genshin Impact can be equipped with up to five different holy object fragments. It’s nearly impossible to collect the perfect set of artifacts as each piece has a primary stat and four random secondary stats.
Developer HoYoverse has officially confirmed two new sets of holy relics will appear in the upcoming Genshin Impact 3.0 version. The first set of holy relics is called Deepwood Memories, and it will have the following effects:
2 shards increase Dendro damage by 15%.
4 pieces reduce opponent’s Dendro Resistance by 30% for 8 seconds. This effect can be activated even when the character is not on the field.
Gilded Dreams is the name of the second series, and it will have the following effects:
2 pieces increase the character’s Elemental Mastery by 80.
4 pieces give significant effects after Elemental Reaction is activated. The buffs are based on the Elemental Types of other team members. Attack is increased by 14% for each party member with the same Elemental Type as the set holder, and Elemental Mastery is increased by 50 for each member with a different Elemental Type.
The first set of holy relics, Deepwood Memories, may be a suitable choice for the upcoming system characters. The recently announced Denbro bow user Tighnari will likely perform at his best when equipped with his kit. He is confirmed as a new DPS character with a strong focus on his unique heavy attack mechanics. Tighnari could also turn out to be a good choice for a secondary DPS role.
The fact that the effect applies even after the character leaves the field means that it can also be used by elemental supports, such as the upcoming quadruple character Collei. The new versions of Aether and Lumine will also be great choices for the role of system support. Both of their rage skills have the ability to continuously apply new herb elements in a large area that is hard to match with other herb support, at least in the upcoming 3.0 update.
The new set of holy relics would be a great set for characters who benefit from having a high Elemental Mastery like Yae Miko, Fischl or Kuki Shinobu. However, this set may also be suitable for Tighnari as a large portion of this set seems to scale with elemental mastery. The 4-part bonus will allow players to unleash their creativity while building the right team composition.
Genshin Impact currently available for PC, PS4, PS5 and mobile devices. The Switch version is in development.
