A Toho producer shares the latest update on the film Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 highly anticipated, here is the information you need to know.
Although the Jujutsu Kaisen manga has come to an end, the anime is not over yet. Season 2 aired in 2023, adapting Gojo's Past and the Shibuya Incident from the manga. While the first season was a flashback, the second season fully captured the true brutality of the universe, and MAPPA Studio announced Jujutsu Kaisen Part 3 along with the ending of the second part.
Upcoming new episodes will cover the Culling Game Arc, a ritual battle royale that involves mages from various eras fighting each other. Many of those mages were reincarnated from many eras or were recently awakened by Kenjaku.
Fans have been waiting for new information about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 since December 2023. The studio is yet to release a trailer or announce a release date. However, we have received an update from the manufacturer.
Oricon News shares an interview with Toho Producer Hiroaki Matsutani, “The Jujutsu Kaisen attraction has been very well received at Universal Studios Japan for over a year and has even been expanded, so it's finally will be available at Universal Studios Hollywood initially.
We've been receiving warm messages from local fans about the work every day, so we're delighted to have this opportunity for even more people to experience the world of the Jujutsu Kaisen TV anime series. We are also working on a sequel to the TV anime series, so please look forward to future developments.
So while fans are waiting for a new season, the producers assure us that it is currently in production. Since the Jujutsu Kaisen manga ended, there have been rumors about Jujutsu Kaisen Part 2, although no concrete information has emerged yet.
