Summary
Inumaki uses the recorder to use Cursed Speech and paralyze Sukuna. Yuta wrestles Gojo's body against Sukuna but Inumaki paves the way for Sukuna's defeat. Inumaki's involvement in Sukuna's impending defeat is surprising but fitting considering his injuries from Shibuya were caused by Sukuna.
After a long break, Jujutsu Kaisen is back with a new chapter, which sees the series' most unexpected hero defeat Sukuna. Due to Gege Akutami's health issues, Jujutsu Kaisen was forced to take a long break, but the series is finally back with the second part of chapter #262 with more exciting developments.
As Yuta struggles with Sukuna in his new body, chapter #262-2 of Jujutsu Kaisen sees Inumaki pave the way for Yuta to attack Sukuna with Gojo's final Hollow Purple. In this chapter, a recorder suddenly breaks into the territory from behind Sukuna, from which Inumaki uses Curse Words to freeze Sukuna in place.
Surprisingly though, Inumaki has previously used modern electronics and gadgets like loudspeakers to amplify his Cursed Technique and used it in unique ways and simple yet sneaky tricks of his own. Using a voice recorder couldn't be more wonderful. However, it is still uncertain whether Yuta will be able to successfully use Hollow Purple and how much damage it will do to Sukuna.
Jujutsu Kaisen's Inumaki Defeats Sukuna with a Simple Trick
Inumaki proves Cursed Speech is the perfect support technique
Considering that Inumaki lost his arm in the Shibuya Arc and barely survived, no one expected him to jump into the final battle with Sukuna in Shinjuku, which makes his latest stunt all the more surprising. However, Inumaki lost his arm to Sukuna in Shibuya, which makes his involvement in Sukuna's impending defeat all the sweeter.
It is ironic that Sukuna was affected by one of Inumaki's most iconic moves, which he has used time and time again to disable his opponents throughout the series. Even Sukuna, as powerful as he is, was temporarily paralyzed, and with this, Inumaki's Cursed Speech, although very labor-intensive, proved to be the most useful support Cursed Technique in a pinch.
Overall, it's hard to say whether Yuta's Hollow Purple can defeat Sukuna once and for all. Yuta is clearly struggling to adapt to Gojo's body and Cursed Technique, but his and Inumaki's efforts may just weaken Sukuna enough for Yuji to return to the fight and maybe even land the final blow on Sukuna.
However, Inumaki's involvement proved that Jujutsu KaisenThe final battle still has many surprises and could see many other unexpected characters return in the final stretch of the fight.
