Kodoani.com – Earth Star Entertainment announced on Thursday that the light novel series Hell Mode – The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing (Hell Mode – Yarikomi Suki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musō Suru) của tác giả Calm down and illustrator Mo will be adapted into a television anime.

The light novel was first posted on the site by Hamuo Shōsetsuka ni Narō in November 2019 and still ongoing.
Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the print version in July 2020. The 10th light novel volume was released on September 13, 2023. Manga adaptation, by Enji Tetta illustrated, published in the magazine Comic Earth Star in October 2020 and still ongoing. Manga volume 10 will be released on December 12, 2023.
