Studio MAPPA animated both the 24-episode first season and the film for the series. Akutami Gege writes and draws the original manga licensed by VIZ Media in English. Crunchyroll streams both the anime and the film, and describes the story: Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, although he lives a completely normal high school life. One day, to save a classmate who was attacked by a curse, he ate Ryomen Sukuna’s finger, injecting the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shared a body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful magician, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is accepted into Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights curses… and thus begins the heroic story of a boy who becomes a curse to lift a curse, a life from which he could never return.
