While One Piece has come quite a long way into the Final Saga, there are still many questions that need to be answered. Some of the most intriguing questions concern the Sun God Nika and the role this mysterious deity will play in the future of the world.
The Elbaf Arc is now revealing more about this legendary figure and his connection to Luffy. But before the Straw Hats learn the truth about Nika, they will have to face some powerful enemies, including Prince Loki and mysterious hooded intruders.
One Piece Chapter 1136 will shed light on new characters while also revealing the connection between Loki and Shanks.
One Piece chapter 1136 reveals the main plot
One Piece Chapter 1136 is titled 'The Land Waiting for the Sun'. The cover continues with Yamato's adventures in Wano. The latest installment has Holden taking Yamato and the others to his base.
This chapter then takes a closer look at the legend of the Sun God. According to some titans, the Sun God would act as Elbaf's liberator, while others believed he would be a destroyer.
The giants then told the Straw Hats about the island's rulers: King Herald and his son Prince Loki. They also revealed that it was Shanks who stopped Loki six years ago. Zoro is intrigued by the mysterious prince and wants to find out if he is stronger. Luffy agreed to a deal with Loki because he said he knew where Shanks was. As for Nami, she thought there was no way the two could find Loki and would get lost, so she followed them.
So, Luffy, Nami and Zoro decided to get the key to free Loki from his chains. Zoro concluded that only when he and Nami assessed whether Loki was telling the truth or not would they release him.
Back in the Underworld, hooded figures arrive at where Loki is imprisoned. They reveal that they are Holy Knights and have come to recruit him. However, the prince refused. The hooded girl then reveals herself to be Gunko, while the identity of the man who resembles Shanks remains a mystery.
Gunko decides to finish Loki off and unleashes his power, revealing the ability to use his long, ice-like sleeves as weapons. But a giant wolf appeared among them just in time and freed Loki from his chains.
Loki refused to join the Holy Knights again, leading the intruders to finish off the wolf. The chapter ends with the prince carrying the wolf's body inside as he declares his intention to destroy the world. Loki said to the wolf: “If this is your fate then go in peace, my friend. A true warrior will not let death discourage him, I will use this anger to destroy the world.” gender!”.
