It will then air simultaneously on Crunchyroll on September 23 at 7:00 p.m. PDT, 9:00 p.m. CT, and 10:00 p.m. Eastern (EST) in the United States. It will release on Sunday, September 24 at 3am British Summer Time (BST) for One Piece fans in the UK. Fans of the English dub will have to wait for that version to premiere on Funimation at a later date.
What happened in episode #1076 of One Piece?
The biggest thing that happened in Episode #1076 was the epic conclusion to Luffy and Kaido’s long, crazy battle on the roof of Onigashima. However, before Kaido was defeated by Luffy, he had a flashback that revealed much of the mysterious warlord’s past. Disappointingly, this backstory doesn’t go into many of the details that fans have been eagerly waiting for, such as his time with the powerful and mysterious Rocks Pirates, but it still provides a some insight into Kaido’s motives and goals. Additionally, the episode features Momo finally being able to create clouds of fire to guide Onigashima away from the capital.
One Piece Episode #1077 Will Give the Straw Hats a Much-Needed Vacation
After the relentless fighting the Straw Hats put in during the Onigashima raid, they deserved a break from operations for a while. Luckily, the people of Wano will likely want to celebrate the defeat of their oppressors so the next episode will likely feature the Straw Hats participating in the festival. This would be especially good for the Straw Hats like Zoro, who were seriously injured in battle and need time to recover. On a more serious note, with Orochi finally meeting his ultimate fate, Momonosuke may step forward to claim his rightful place as Wano’s leader.
Aside from Wano, the news of Kaido and Big Mom’s defeat will likely receive some very dramatic reactions. This episode #1077 could also show how major characters like the 5 Elders, Akainu and the other Yonko will react to the major upheaval in the world’s status quo. All this promises to do A piece episode #1077 a very fun episode, even if it probably won’t have a lot of fighting.
