One Piece Volume 110 was recently revealed by Oda and is expected to be available on shelves soon. This volume covers an important part of Egghead Island, specifically where the war against the Five Elder Stars began. Additionally, there are a lot of interesting things this volume covers, but fans are most interested in the SBS angle that comes with it.
As fans know, SBS is where Oda often reveals quite a lot of interesting information related to various things in the story.
As expected, One Piece Volume 110 SBS will provide information about the two newest Navy Admirals, Fujitora and Green Bull.
Fans have wanted to know their past for a long time, and Oda finally fulfilled that request and explained to readers where they came from and what they did before becoming a Marine.
New Admirals of the Navy were elected at some point during the 2-year timeskip. The reason the Navy needed two new Admirals was because Sengoku had left his position and become Inspector General. Admiral Sakazuki replaced Sengoku, and Admiral Kuzan left the navy. It also means that the Navy has 2 vacant admiral positions so they need two new Admirals to fill the void.
As revealed in the Dressrosa arc, these two Admirals were selected through the World Military Draft, they are named Green Bull and Fujitora. According to Doflamingo's own description, both are true monsters. In fact, fans have also seen a glimpse of their powers and it can be said that the two are extremely powerful. They can even take on a Yonko in battle, which is proof of their immense power.
Since they joined at some point during the timeskip, fans don't know exactly where they came from or what their past is. And now, Oda has finally revealed it to fans.
Oda reveals the past of Fujitora and Green Bull in One Piece
In SBS One Piece episode 110, Oda was asked directly about the past of Admiral Fujitora and Green Bull. Since these two were elected to the World Military Draft, fans are curious about their lives before joining the Navy and serving the Government. Oda decided to answer this question satisfactorily. According to the author, to put it mildly, their life is quite interesting.
These two were assigned to protect countries affiliated with the World Government at some point, and they were recruited by the Marines. They quickly rose to the rank of Admiral. This is a clear sign of their incredible strength. Oda also goes into detail about each person.
Greenbull used to be a police officer
According to Oda, Aramaki, also known as Admiral Green Bull, comes from South Blue. He used to be a powerful police officer from a kingdom called Taya. With his rather extravagant personality, Green Bull caused a major incident involving a woman in the kingdom.
This caused big trouble and he was eventually sent to prison. It is not known exactly what he did and why he was sent to prison. Perhaps, his tattoo has something to do with this.
Regardless, at this moment, Green Bull possessed immense power. It didn't take long for this news to reach the World Government and they decided to search for him personally. He was appointed to the World Military Draft, and immediately given a position in the ranks of Admirals. That's how Aramaki became a Navy Admiral.
Fujitora has worked as a bodyguard in the past
According to Oda, Admiral Fujitora, whose real name is Issho, comes from West Blue. Interestingly, this is the sea where Shanks comes from. Fujitora was a gambler and he enjoyed gambling. At one point, he suffered huge losses due to gambling losses on Twin Snake Island. It is implied that Fujitora worked as a bodyguard at a place after this event, and later, the place was bought by the World Government for a huge sum of money.
It is likely that this is how the World Government discovered him and how he was brought into the ranks of the Marines, then promoted to Admiral.
SBS also revealed that Fujitora used to be the Commander-in-Chief of the defense army in the Aoi Kingdom. This kingdom once existed in the Grand Line, but was destroyed by war, which explains why Fujitora is a pacifist. For some reason, he ended up being a war criminal, possibly because he rebelled against those who sought to destroy his country. Perhaps, those people are related to the Government.
However, the World Government would learn of this fact in the future, implying that his status as a war criminal was still unknown to them. This is a very interesting detail that Oda included in SBS. Hopefully, it will make for a very interesting plot point to be resolved later.
