Former VCS Marksman in trouble
In the history of VCS, although not really as developed as the Major regions, it has produced many players who have impressed the domestic and international LoL community. One of them is Slayder – former GAM Esports ADC and the first Vietnamese LoL player to leave for Europe and join a team from Saudi Arabia – Nigma Galaxy.
Because the tournament Nigma participated in was not the highest level, combined with his existing talent and experience, Slayder adapted very quickly. However, in the near future, the former VCS champion may have to face many difficulties in his career.
According to information circulating in the European League of Legends community, Nigma is planning to buy Rogue's LEC spot. With the LEC having been a franchise tournament for a long time, this purchase is completely within Nigma's ability and the team itself is completely financially capable of meeting all of Nigma's requirements. However, a problem will arise: Slayder will almost no longer have the opportunity to play for the team competing in EMEA.
Former VCS champion at risk of unemployment
In fact, Slayder has talent and no one can deny that. But clearly, in the first and last time until now he was able to go to CKTG, Slayder did not show much. While LEC is the highest level of European LoL and the level is far superior to VCS. Slayder's opponents at that time would be Hans sama, Noah or even Flakked – all are famous players and are superior in every aspect compared to Slayder's opponents in the Arab league or VCS.
Nigma itself is fully capable of “reforming” the entire lineup. And players like Slayder, needless to say, will find it difficult to compete with quality ADCs in the LEC or foreign players. Moreover, Nigma's goal when joining the LEC (if any) will also be titles and they will add players capable of competing for titles.
Slayder's future is probably quite uncertain. But in some way, he can return to VCS and still find suitable destinations for himself.
