Kodoani.com – The February issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine published the final chapter of the manga Koi Suru 2DK, Ayakashi Zensai Tsuki (Romantic 2-Bedroom, Haunted by Dead Wife) by Roku Sakura last Saturday. At the same time, the magazine announced that Sakura will launch a new work called April Showers Bring May Flowers (April showers bring May flowers – special edition) in the April issue released in March.
Koi Suru 2DK, Ayakashi Zensai Tsuki tells the story of Tsukasa Ōkami, a girl who moves into a cheap, shabby apartment after leaving home because she discovers her fiance is having an affair. During her sad days, she made friends with alcohol to ease her sadness. However, Tsukasa's life begins to change when she meets Haruyuki Isato, her handsome neighbor. As new feelings of love begin to rekindle, Tsukasa finds his apartment haunted by the spirit of Haruyuki's deceased wife.
The manga was launched by Sakura on Young Ace in May 2023. Kadokawa Shoten published the second volume on May 2, and the third and final volume will be released on February 4.
Previously, Roku Sakura created a big hit with the manga Busu ni Hanataba o (April Showers Bring May Flowers) launched in April 2016 and ended in September 2022. This manga was published by Kadokawa in its entirety in 12 volumes, with the final volume releasing in November 2022. The work has been translated into English by Yen Press and is currently inspiring an upcoming anime series.
With the end of Koi Suru 2DK, Ayakashi Zensai Tsuki, fans are looking forward to the special edition of April Showers Bring May Flowers, which promises to bring more emotions and special impressions from the storytelling style of Roku Sakura.
