Kodoani.com – Only a few months left until the “final battle” of the Sailor Moon manga gets an anime adaptation Sailor Moon Cosmos and to showcase what needs no introduction at this point, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter had a combined character today featuring a trailer on the brand’s YouTube channel in Shorts format.
Tomoya Takahashi directed both seasons of Sailor Moon Cosmos at both Toei Animation and Studio Deen. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu wrote the script, while Kazuko Tadano once again returned to design the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi is again producing the music for the film, with Yumiko Kuga from Studio Jack serving as the film’s art director.
Sailor Moon Cosmos will adapt the “final battle” from Naoko Takeuchi’s original manga, which was previously adapted into the final season of the original Sailor Moon anime called “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.” Cosmos’ first film releases on June 9 while the second hits theaters on June 30.
Cosmos continues from the two-part film Sailor Moon Eternal, which was released in early 2021 in Japan and on Netflix on June 3 worldwide. Eternal continues the Sailor Moon Crystal television anime series.
