My Neighbor Totoro (1988) and Kiki's Delivery Service (1989) are by far two of the most iconic films ever released by Studio Ghibli. Now, Ghibli's official online store, Donguri Sora, has released a new drink collection featuring Ghibli's mascot and Kiki's famous feline companion, Jiji.
As detailed on Donguri Sora's official website, the said collection includes four stainless steel bottles that can be used for both hot and cold drinks. Available in small (350 ml) and large (500 ml) sizes, the bottle uses a “dual vacuum structure” designed to keep drinks at a stable temperature. They also have an “octagonal” design that not only makes them easier to hold, but also prevents them from rolling when placed on a flat surface. The Totoro-themed bottles (Version 1 and Version 2) feature cute decals featuring an umbrella-wielding Totoro and his ghost-like companion. Similarly, Ghibli's Kiki-themed bottles (Version 1 and Version 2) feature Jiji decals, with each side highlighting a different facial expression or pose. Each bottle is sold individually, with prices ranging from 4180 yen (about 27 USD) to 4510 yen (29 USD).

My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service are two of Studio Ghibli's most beloved films
My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service, both written and directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki, share many of the qualities that have become synonymous with Ghibli's works: gorgeous animation, story lines Deep story and lovable characters. The previous film revolved around 10-year-old Satsuki Kusakabe and her four-year-old sister Mei, who move to a new house in rural Japan after their mother falls ill. While exploring their new home, the sisters discover that the forest surrounding their home is filled with forest spirits that only they can see. Among these was a giant bear-like creature they named “Totoro”. Over the years, the film has become one of Ghibli's most internationally recognized properties.
In contrast to Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service is a coming-of-age story for young girls growing up in the modern world. The film revolves around a 13-year-old witch named Kiki, who begins a new life in a bustling seaside town as part of her training. With the help of the kind-hearted bakery owner and her husband, Kiki sets out to use her unique magical talent – the ability to fly – to start her first delivery business. Although Kiki's journey is not easy, she gradually learns how to become resilient in the face of adversity. Throughout the film, her main companion is the talking black cat Jiji, who sometimes appears pessimistic but is always loyal and supportive of her efforts.
