Kodoani.com – A remake of XSEED Games’ 2003 GameCube farmer life simulation game Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life slated for release next summer. Nintendo streamed a trailer for Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Switch during its Nintendo Direct showcase on Tuesday. Unlike the original game, the remake of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life allows the player to choose a male, female, or non-binary protagonist.

Your new life begins in Forgotten Valley, a peaceful community where your father and friend Takakura once dreamed of running a farm. As you make friends with the inhabitants of the valley and fulfill your father’s legacy, you’ll live a carefree life on a farming and ranching farm. As the seasons pass, you will find your soul mate, raise a child together, and watch them grow up right in front of your eyes.
Once you’ve done your daily chores on the farm, you can go fishing, hunt for ancient treasures at your local dig, or chat with friends in town to build precious memories. And as the years go by, your children will be old enough to choose a career… Will they inherit the farm? Or will they find their call somewhere else? Only time will answer.
This remake of the beloved classic features new events, enhanced festivals, more recipes, and a variety of never-before-seen crops. Looking for more things to do around the farm? Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life was previously released for the Nintendo GameCube in September 2003 in Japan and March 2004 in North America as Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life by publisher Natsume. XSEED Games took over publishing the franchise in 2015, and it couldn’t use Natsume’s Harvest Moon title.
