Sunday’s Jump Festa ’24 event revealed a new promotional video, adding seven additional voice actors, staff information, and an April 2024 premiere date for the anime adaptation of the baseball manga.Bōkyaku Battery” by Eko Mikawa. The anime will air on TV Tokyo and other channels, and MAPPA has announced the English title as “Oblivion Battery”.

Manga “Bōkyaku Battery” is about Haruka, a strong pitcher who is praised as perfect, and Kei, a skilled catcher, known as “The General”, but has lost his mind miss. Both enter Kotesashi High School in Tokyo and meet new rivals.
The series was adapted into an event anime by MAPPA in October 2020 as part of “Jump Special Anime Festa 2020”. Miyano also took on the role of Kei in that anime event. “Bōkyaku Battery” appeared on the Shonen Jump+ website in April 2018, and Shueisha will publish the 17th volume on January 4.
