Kodoani.com – Twitter account for the television anime series based on the novel “The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy(Seiken Gakuin no Maken Tsukai) by author Yū Shimizu and artist Asagi Tōsaka announced that the anime will premiere on October 2 on TV Tokyo at 1:30 a.m. JST (Japan Standard Time), with broadcast on other networks later. Previously, on September 25 at 1:30 a.m. JST, ABEMA will also air the first episode of the anime early.

This anime series is based on the light novel series by Yū Shimizu, published by Kadokawa, and the story revolves around the journey of Leonis, the Dark Lord who awakens after a thousand years of magical stasis and finds himself in the body of a ten year old boy. He meets Riselia, a girl who is fighting against creatures called the Void, which nearly destroyed humanity. To uncover the mystery of this new era, Leonis enrolls in Excalibur Academy, a school that trains students to fight against the Void, and begins his journey.
The anime is expected to air this fall and has received great attention from the anime community.
