The video premiered during Rebellion's reruns from October 25 to 31, and has fans eagerly awaiting the release of the new film.
Release schedule and information about the production team
Although originally scheduled for release in winter 2024, Walpurgisnacht: Rising has been postponed to Winter 2025. The movie will be due Yukihiro Miyamoto (director of Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story) directed. Veteran production teams from the original series will return, including Magica Quartet (main creative team), director Akiyuki Simboscreenwriter Gen Urobuchi from Nitroplus, character designer Ume Aokicomposer Yuki Kajiuraand animation studio SHAFT. Legacy of Puella Magi Madoka Magica
First released in January 2011, the 12-episode Puella Magi Madoka Magica television anime made a strong impression with its unique style and dark story about the wizarding world.
