Kodoani.com – Author Nanaki Nana did announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday that the manga Valundio ~Divergent Sword Saga (Iken Senki Völundio) will continue to be serialized around the end of December. More detailed information will be updated on Manga ONE.
Reasons for Pause and Return
The series took a break in November 2023, after the first season ended, to prepare for the second season and also give Nanao time to improve her health. The manga's return in December promises to bring new and exciting developments to the story full of action and adventure.
Story Content
Völundio ~Divergent Sword Saga revolves around Cleoa mercenary who only wants a peaceful and stable life. His dream is to buy a house of his own. However, while fleeing from a group of powerful robbers, Cleo met Kohakua mysterious half-human, half-beast girl who claims that she foresaw his death. Kohaku vows to protect Cleo, no matter what happens, although the reason remains a mystery. Can Cleo survive and achieve her dream?
Achievement and Publication
The manga launched with an opening chapter on Manga ONE in August 2020, and the seventh volume has been published. Shogakukan published on February 9. The manga entered the award's web manga category Next Manga Awards (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) for the eighth time, ranked 18th in 2022.
Nanao's Previous Works: Helck
Previously, Nanaki Nanao released the famous fantasy manga Helck on Manga ONE and Ura Sunday in 2014, and ended it in 2017. This series has been published. Viz Media released in English and adapted into an anime, airing in Japan in July 2023. HIDIVE streamed the Helck anime as it aired.
