Previously published Why doesn’t anyone remember me in this world? anime has revealed a teaser trailer and additional cast. The film is scheduled to open in July 2024 and will be animated by Studio Project No.9 (Love After World Domination, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten). Tatsuma Minamikawa is directing the series, with Satoru Sugisawa writing the series and Hiromi Kato designing the characters.

It was published under Media Factory’s MF Bunko J imprint from July 2017 to August 2020. A manga adaptation illustrated by Arikan began serialization in Media Factory’s manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive in February 2018.
BookWalker licensed the manga in English, describing the first chapter as: The war between the five races on earth – humans, “Demons”, “Wild Gods”, “Souls” and “Ghosts animals” – ended with the victory of humans. It is said that “Prophet Sid” sealed the remaining four races in the black pyramid that are now known as “Crypts”. Kai’s job is to watch over the catacombs and make sure that nothing changes. He is also training to save humans when other races break the seal and return to this world. The catacombs looked quiet today… but after Kai felt the world bending before his eyes… everything changed. “World Rebirth” has been activated… !!Now Kai is in a completely different world where no one knows him. But he misses everyone!
