Recently in Faker’s interview with Sports Seoul, the veteran T1 player shared his gratitude for all the fans who have supported him throughout his career. T1’s mid laner affirms that fans are a great motivation for him to strive and constantly develop himself.
Besides, Faker also has a macro view that the fan community is what makes traditional sports as well as e-sports grow. Therefore, the Demon King did not regret warm actions to repay the hearts of fans.
Faker shared, “I used to wear square-rimmed glasses but changed back to round-rimmed glasses recently. I think fans like this style of glasses better, so I will continue to wear it in the future.”
He also added: “Throughout my career, the support and love of the fans are very meaningful things. I am still playing until now thanks to the existence of the fans, really. In fact, they are the motivation for me to constantly strive.”
In particular, being supported by his own fans and T1 throughout 2022 is also one of the reasons for Faker’s decision to renew his 3-year contract. The player born in 1996 realizes that he can still continue to develop his career further in 2021, so it is understandable that he continues to contribute.
