Added many new notable changes to ARAM’s Howling Abyss Map during League of Legends’ 2023 Pre-Season.
Since its launch, the ARAM mode of League of Legends has not changed much in terms of mechanics and terrain. Still only a familiar map strip, where the two teams will fight, unable to return to recovery for the past 10 years. The adjustments through the versions are also just about the champion and equipment stats.
Suddenly, Riot officially announced that it will quickly renew the Howling Abyss map to make the terrain of this area more attractive, as well as make people ‘ARAM‘ get a more unique, enjoyable experience.
First will be the portal Hextech, Riot launched a feature similar to Summoner’s Rift map, creating a portal to help players easily go from the main house to the farthest tower. If all turrets are destroyed, the nearest destination will be the Minion Turret. These are all one-way gates and especially opponents can also use each other’s gates.
Once destroyed, Turrets will now turn into impassable terrain, replacing them with an area that blocks about 50% of that area’s path. This change will obviously make teamfights in the ruins of turrets much more intense and mutated, especially with a ‘flat’ and narrow map like Howling Abyss this.

In addition to enhancing the area map for ARAM, the design team also conveniently added the bushes on the right side of the map with a larger size, which can support all 5 team members to enter. It is expected that this will be the new fighting location in the early stages of the games ARAM in League of Legends next time.
These changes will be introduced in the new version 12.23 of the League of Legendsalong with a series of changes in Pre-Season 2023. It will officially be on sale on December 7. Don’t forget to follow MGN.vn to update the latest information about League of Legends Please!
