Popular supernatural action anime Tokyo Revengers is returning with a sequel, announced at a new event with a promotional trailer recapping the events of previous seasons.
The Tokyo Revengers anime has been confirmed to have a sequel via the official X (formerly Twitter) account. It has not yet been confirmed whether this will be a movie or a fourth TV series. This news was revealed at the series' Matsudo Touring event to celebrate the anime's 4th anniversary. Other announcements include a special anniversary project in 2025 to commemorate the anime series' 5th anniversary. The first project will be “Dachi Live”, in which the cast of Tokyo Revengers, including Yuki Shin (Takemichi), Yu Hayashi (Mikey), Masaya Fukunishi (Ken Ryuguji), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Takashi Mitsuya) and more Another artist will perform a new film, original song encapsulated in the anime Tokyo Revengers. A new mini anime series combining Tokyo Revengers with Japanese fairy tales has also been announced. Titled Fairy Tale Revengers, the first story will adapt the character Momotaro.

Tokyo Revengers has established itself as one of the best-selling manga series since its launch in 2017 and is the best-selling manga series of all time, with over 70 million copies in circulation. The franchise's upcoming game, Tokyo Revengers: Last Mission, will finally be released this month after being delayed since February. Fans can also check out original manga author Ken Wakui's latest title, which is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. CBR's Astro Royale Chapter 1 review praised its debut as 'fresh' and 'full of heart'.
