Kodoani.com – BLUE LOCK will return for a second season on October 5marking the return of the selfish guys to the Japanese soccer field. A new trailer has been released, introducing the upcoming dramatic action along with new songs.
UNISON SQUARE GARDEN will return with a new opening song called “My CHARISMA”while the ending song will be “One” of boy band Snow Man. The trailer also teased a part of this song, adding to the excitement for the second season.
Based on the popular comic series by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, BLUE LOCK The second season will be Yuji Haibara took on the role of general director, with Shintaro Inokawa also director. Taku Kishimoto will continue to compose for this season, and Kenji Tanabe will be in charge of character design. The music will still be composed by Jun Murayamawhile studio eightbit continue to take over animation production.
The first part of BLUE LOCK directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe (Haikyu!! episode director) with the assistance of Shunsuke Ishikawa (director of Sword Art Online Alicization episode). Ishikawa also recently directed the feature film BLUE LOCK -EPISODE NAGI-.
Part two will be released on Crunchyroll same day as Japan and will be streamed as part of the fall 2024 anime season.
